A Story

Jesus often used parables (stories) when He taught when He was on the earth. These stories sometimes were based upon common experiences of the day, things He had seen or illustrations to help people grasp a concept. Jesus was phenomenal at sharing these stories. It was actually a groundbreaking approach to teaching as contrasted with the Jewish spiritual leaders of that day.

The amazing thing about this - is that 2000 years later - the story of who Jesus was, who Jesus is for each of us that receive His grace is still relevant; and that each of us who have experienced that grace now have a new story to tell.

For some of us - our story is a defining moment - a drastic, cathartic moment. For most of us - it is a series of events and experiences that tell that same story of life change and the grace of God in our lives.
