It's great to climb to the top of a mountain. I have done some hiking in my past and there is a great sense of accomplishment when we reach the top of a mountain - I remember a time when I hiked up the White Oak Canyon Springs in the Shenandoah National Forrest - wow, what a hike and what a spectacular view, but also what a tremendous effort. (that was a big sentence):) Anyway, when you reach the top you are often exhausted, but also exhilarated - what I want you to think about is that we spend very little time on top of the mountain - most of our time is on the way up or on the way down - but that also means limited time in the valley as well. So if you are top as you read this then Praise God! and prayer for those who are not and if you are in a valley then know that deliverance is on the way and that people are praying for you.
But for right now - Thank God for the mountaintop!
At Horizons, things are going well and there are some HUGE announcements coming in the next few weeks. It is so exciting to be a part of God's kingdom and of a ministry that is focused for God.
At Covenant, things are looking good and we feel like we are turning a corner in the right direction. Looking forward to getting the flywheel going again ( a Good to Great thing)
I'm also a baseball fan - started rooting for the Cincinnati Reds as a little boy - and one World Series win in 1990(outside of the 75-76 wins as a little boy) and it's been dry -maybe this year although our middle relief rots so far this year.
My family is doing great - and planning a great vacation this year as we are traveling to Europe for a trip to London and Paris and then a Cruise out of Barcelona Spain - I'll let you know how that goes.
